LIBRARY COMPETITION
Don’t forget to send in your entries for our Christmas competition. For Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 the competition is to design a collage with the theme ‘A Reindeer’. The competition for years 3, 4, 5 and 6 is to write an original short story in which a reindeer is included in it in some way – no more than 200 words. Entries in by Friday 13th December. Thank you to those parents who joined us for Year two assembly which was based on the ‘Unfortunate Stuarts’. They covered the Gun Powder Plot, and The Plague and did some wonderful dancing. They used the puppets that they had made and showed their posters and had a recapture of the visit from the fire crew with their fire engine. BOOK FAIR
Don’t forget our book fair runs through to next Tuesday, a good chance to buy for Christmas. For every book sold the school will receive one free – please come along and view. On Monday we will be providing tea and coffee.
CROSS COUNTRY
The Key Stage 2 cross country yesterday was an amazing event. All of the children tried really hard and the improvement was phenomenal. Some even ran the two miles which was a great achievement. Our thanks to those parents who came to support us, we would love more parents to join us next time. BIKES & SCOOTERS
Reminder – bikes and scooters must be secured with a lock in the cycle rack at the front of the school, they cannot be left inside the main reception area.
