1. TO ENTER: simply follow the contest link on theweb site, enter the contest addreas indicated on the print ads, or click the „Enter Now‟ buttons in the contest eblast and online banner ads. Complete and submit your entry by following the instructions found at the site. One prize will be awarded per day. Entries are limited to one entry per person, per day, per email address and mobile number. All entries must include your name, address, city, province, postal code, ten digit telephone number, age, and a valid e-mail address. Entries received shall be deemed to be submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g. business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Contest starts at 6:00 am Pacific Daylight Time ("PDT") on Monday April 18, 2011, and closes on Friday April 29 at 5:00 p.m. PDT (the "Contest Period"). There are twelve (12) Prizes to be won from all the eligible entries received during the Contest Period. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. 2. The contest sponsor(s) is/are: The Pacific National Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as the "Contest Sponsor(s)" 3. To enter and to be eligible to win, entrant must be a legal resident of the province of British Columbia. Employees and their parents, siblings and children, and persons domiciled with an employee of any of the Contest Sponsor(s), its/their agents, parent, affiliated or related companies, subsidiaries, divisions, prize sponsors, and promotional and advertising agencies and administrators, are ineligible to enter. Entrants who are under the age of 14 at the date of entry are eligible to enter the contest and win a prize provided that the parent or legal guardian of the entrant accepts any such prize and the terms and conditions hereof for and on behalf of such entrant. 4. Daily Prizes: There are twelve (12) Daily Prizes, each consisting of four One-Day PlayPasses, two valid for the day of April 30, 2011 and two valid during the opening day of the ATMOSFEAR (date to be determined after contest closes), two passes for the Drop Zone, the Revelation, Pacific Adventure Golf and Haunted Mansion valid for the opening day of the ATMOSFEAR, two Triple-O‟s burger combos valid on the opening day of the ATMOSFEAR, and two seats on one of the first rides of ATMOSFEAR during the ride‟s opening day. Each Daily Prize is valued at $257.38 (prize value includes HST). 5. Each Daily Prize must be accepted as awarded. The Prize may not be sold, transferred and is/are not convertible to cash. The Pacific National Exhibition reserves the right to substitute the Prize in whole or in part in the event that all or any component of the Prize is/are unavailable. 6. Each day starting April 19, 2011 until April 28, at approximately 12:00 p.m. PDT, a random draw will take place at the Pacific National Exhibition, from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period the day prior. On April 29 at approximately 5:00 p.m. PDT, a random draw will take place at the Pacific National Exhibition, from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period of April 29. All entries drawn will win the same Prize. The odds of winning a Prize will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The Contest Sponsor(s) will attempt to contact each potential winner, or, if under the age of fourteen (14), his or her parent or legal guardian, by email within one (1) business day after the draw, except for the potential winner for the day of April 29, who the Contest Sponsor(s) will attempt to contact on April 29. Proof of identification must be provided upon request. The selected entrant will have two (2) business days to confirm receipt of award via email. In the event that a confirmation email is not received by the Pacific National Exhibition, a second random draw will take place following the same guidelines as above. In order to be declared a winner, potential winner(s) must first correctly answer, unaided, a time limited mathematical skill testing question. Before being awarded a Prize, potential winner(s) or, if under the age of fourteen (14) , his or her parent or legal guardian, will be required to sign and return within the time stipulated by the Contest Sponsor(s), a full release and indemnity form stating that he/she has read and understood these official rules and regulations, grants all consents required, authorizes the Contest Sponsor(s) to broadcast, publish and disseminate his/her name, address, photograph, likeness, sobriquet and voice, in connection with any promotion or publicity, and/or for general news, entertainment and information purposes at no additional compensation to the potential winner beyond the awarding of the Prize. The winner(s) must also accept the Prize as offered and release the Contest Sponsor(s) from any and all liability of any kind arising out of the potential winner‟s participation in this contest and receipt and use of the Prize. In the event that the potential winner(s), as applicable, does not comply with all the provisions as contemplated in these official rules and regulations, Contest Sponsor(s) shall have the right to disqualify potential winner(s), and draw an alternate potential winner and the Contest Sponsor shall be fully and completely released and discharged from any liability or responsibility in this regard. The provisions and procedures referred to above relating to selection and notification of a potential winner(s), if applicable, shall be applied, with the necessary amendments, until a qualified winner has been duly selected. 7. By entering this contest the entrants and participants automatically agree to accept and abide by these official rules and regulations. All decisions of the Contest Sponsor(s) with respect to any aspect of this contest, including without limitation the eligibility of entries, are final and binding on all entrants in all matters as they relate to this contest. 8. All entries become the property of Contest Sponsor(s) who assume no responsibility for lost, late, delayed, destroyed or misdirected e-mail, voice messages, or any computer errors or malfunctions. No correspondence will be entered into except with contestants requesting contest official rules and regulations by mail or requesting names of prize winner(s) (for which a self-addressed, postage paid envelope must be included) or contestants that have requested further SMS communication by checking the box which states, “Check the box if you wish to receive periodic SMS updates and exclusive offers on up and coming events and promotions relating to the PNE, Playland and The Fair. SMS messages would be sent to the mobile phone number indicated above. Standard Message & Data Rates May Apply” and those contestants that have requested further email and newsletter communication by checking the box which states, "Check the box if you wish to receive periodic updates and exclusive offers (through email or posted mail) on up and coming events and promotions relating to the PNE, Playland and The Fair.” Contest Sponsor(s) does/do not assume any responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information, technical malfunctions, human or technical error, seeding or printing errors, lost, delayed or garbled data or transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or failures of any telephone or computer line or network, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof. Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered are void. If for any reason, in the opinion of the Contest Sponsor(s), in its/their sole discretion, the contest is not capable of running as originally planned, or if the administration, security, fairness, integrity or the proper conduct of the contest is corrupted or adversely affected, including by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond its/their control, Contest Sponsor(s) reserve(s) its/their right to cancel, terminate, modify, amend or suspend the contest including cancelling any method of entry, and select a winner from previously received eligible entries. Contest Sponsor(s) reserve(s) its/their right to modify the official rules and regulations of this contest without materially affecting the terms and conditions hereof. The Contest Sponsor(s) reserve(s) its/their right in its/their sole discretion to disqualify any individual it/they find(s) to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the contest or to be acting in violation of these official rules and regulations or otherwise in a disruptive manner. Any attempts to deliberately damage any web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Contest Sponsor(s) reserve(s) its/their right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent of the law.
