Peer Assistance Services, Inc. (PAS) is a community-based, 501(c)(3), not-for-profit Colorado corporation dedicated to quality, accessible prevention and intervention services in workplaces and communities, focused on substance use and related issues, guides all agency programming. Monday – Friday 8:00– 5:00(varies by office) Occasional weekends required Program Summary: Colorado TASC (Treatment Accountability for Safer Communities) is a statewide program
that provides comprehensive case management services to offenders on parole who have substance use or co-
occurring disorders.
Education and Experience:
2-year Degree or equivalent experience in Human/Behavioral Services, Criminal Justice, or related field preferred.
Relevant knowledge of substance use disorders, as well as community resources, preferred. Must be eligible to
pursue a CAC II certification.

 Strong written and verbal communication skills
 Ability to communicate and work with clients, staff, and community partners in a calm, professional manner
 Proficient with MS Office
 Recognizes legal obligation to confidentiality of program participants and records
 Maintains strong personal boundaries with clients
Essential Duties and Principle Responsibilities
 Process intakes of clients to include:  Explain paperwork to client  Enter into all data collection systems  Brief client on TASC services  Determine if client has immediate needs to be seen by a Case Manager at that time  Facilitate client scheduling assessment appointment with Case Manager  Constructing file according to standard procedures  Monitor same gender UA specimen collection to include:  Use of Sentry UA scheduling system  Fee collection  Monitor client providing UA in close proximity  Report any unusual occurrences to appropriate case manager or program director  Document in all required database collection systems, as described in the SOP  Alert case manager or program director of problematic UA’s recieved  Administer breathalyzers or oral swabs as indicated  Monitor Disulfiram /Antabuse by clients and complete all necessary documentation  Maintain accurate client files, to include weekly status updates to ensure active status on parole  Staff front desk as first point of contact with visitors and clients
 Manage the flow of office traffic ensuring visitors and clients are seen by specified staff safely
 Manage phone system professionally directing calls to appropriate staff
 Knowledgeable about TASC procedures in order to field basic questions from clients and community agencies

Working Conditions: Favorable office environment with in-state travel required. Periodic weekend hours
required.

Physical Requirements
: Position requires intermittent sitting, standing, and walking. Occasional lifting of up to 40
pounds. Good visual and auditory acuity required for client assessment and interaction. Manual dexterity required
for date entry. Same gender matching required for observation of specimen collection.

others in a timely and appropriate manner.
Job Knowledge: Understands scope of responsibilities, possesses and maintains necessary job knowledge and has
required technical skills. Appropriately and accurately applies job knowledge to complete principle duties and
responsibilities. Understands and integrates agency mission and values into daily work.
Collaboration and Planning: Sets goals in accordance with contract requirements and agency policies. Develops
plans and manages resources to meet goals. Aligns plans with agency mission and values. Coordinates and
cooperates with PAS staff, clients, contractors, community partners, stakeholders. Respects and adheres to
team/supervisor/agency decisions. Holds self and others accountable. Tracks, measures and reports outcomes.
