CHEMICAL NAME Nº EINECS 3. IDENTIFICATION OF DANGER
Classification for the preparation (R.D. 255/2003 and 199/45/EC): DANGEROUS
Long exposure may cause dryness or cracks in skin.
Extremely flammable. Maintain away from any ignition source. Do not smoke. The aerosol could explode due to the internal pressure when submitted to high temperatures (50ºC). Do not spray near to a naked flame, hot surfaces and electrical appliances, Explosive mixtures can form in the air. The propellant is heavier than the air and extends at floor level.
Very toxic to aquatic organisms. May cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment.
Maintain out of reach of children. Always employ in well ventilated places. Maintain away from food, drink and fodder. Do not inhale the aerosols. Avoid contact to skin. In case of accident or discomfort, go immediately to the doctor and if possible take the container label. In order to avoid risks for people and environment, follow the instructions for use.
4. FIRST AID
ADVICE FOR THE DOCTOR IN CASE OF INTOXITATION OR ACCIDENT Symptoms of intoxication: Dermatitis, irritation to eyes, nose and throat. Hypersensitivity with bronchial spasm reaction. Parestesia peribucal. CNS Depression. Narcose.
First aid: - Remove the person from the contaminated area. - Remove stained clothing immediately - Wash eyes with abundant water for at least 15 minutes. - Wash skin with abundant soap and water. Do not rub. - Maintain the body temperature. - Control respiration. If necessary apply artificial respiration. - If the person is unconscious, lay down on his side and with the head lower
than the rest of the body and the legs semi bent.
- Transfer the intoxicated person to a hospital taking the container label
NEVER LEAVE AN INTOXICATED PERSON UNATTENDED.
Therapeutic advice: Symptomatic treatment.
IN CASE OF INTOXICATION CALL THE NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TOXIXOLOGY- Phone: +34 967 562 04 20
5. MEASURES TO BE TAKEN IN CASE OF FIRE:
Appropriate means of extinction: Foam, dry chemical dust. C02 and water spray. Prohibited extinguishers: None particularly. Extraordinary Dangers of fire or explosion: An aerosol could explode due to the pressure inside the container and high temperatures (50ºC). These containers are susceptible to exploding and to being projected strongly during a fire. Keep the containers cold, soak with pulverised water.
Products with danger of Thermic decomposition: Thermic decomposition and combustion can give off carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and other toxic vapours. Do not pour chemically contaminated water onto the floor or into drains. Respect the necessary measures to store the used water for posterior elimination. Eliminate water and the earth accordingly stipulated by the Local Authorities PROTECTIVE WEAR FOR FIRE FIGHTING PERSONAL: The firemen must use autonomous respiratory apparatus and full equipment against fire. Verify that the respirator is certified/ approved or equivalent equipment.
6. MEASURES TO BE TAKEN IN CASE OF ACCIDENTAL SPILLAGE:
Suppression of the ignition sources, get the maxim ventilation, protect the breathing. Anti-splashes lenses. Complete protection clothes. Boots. Gloves. The suggested protection clothes could not assure a sufficient protection; consult a specialist before touching the product.
Environmental Precautions: Avoid the spillage pour into drains, sewage system,
superficial or underground water and the land contamination. Stop the spillage with non combustible materials like sand or inert dust.
Absorb the spillage with sand, inert dust and eliminate the residue according the local regulations.
7. MANIPULATION AND STORING
(In accordance with R.D. 374/2001, BOE Nº 104 dated 05/01/01) Manipulation:
Manipulate according to the regulations for a correct manufacturing and industrial hygiene in well ventilated areas. For its use, do not eat, drink or smoke. Keep away from the heat. Keep away from any ignition source. The empty containers can suppose a fire risk. Do not ingest. Do not inhale the aerosol. In case of ingestion go immediately to the GP and if possible take the container label.
Protect from sunlight. Keep away form sources of ignition. Avoid expose at temperatures above 50ºC. (50ºC)
8. CONTROL OF PERSONAL EXPOSURE AND PROTECTION
2. Exposure controls: Technical measures:
Assure the exhaustive ventilation and other engineering
concentrations of steam air below the required labour exposure limit. Verify the proximity of an ocular shower and a security shower at work.
Wash the hands after handling the products and before eating, smoking, use the toilets and at the end of the day.
1º. Respiratory protection: No special protection gear is necessary although must be avoid breathe directly the product and ventilate adequately the area where the preparation is manipulated.
2º. Skin protection. Hands: Latex or plastic gloves. 3º. Eyes protection: Security glasses.
4º. Skin protection. Rest of the body: Labour gown or overall. b) Environmental Exposure: Recollect the residues with suitable packing to be eliminated through an authorised organism. Avoid the product pour into drains and sewage system.
8. PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL PROPERTIES.
If it’s expose at temperatures above 50ºC there is explosion risk (pressurized container)

10. TOXICOLOGY INFORMATION This preparation hasn’t experimented toxicological tests, but all the raw materials have an established toxicological bibliography. In order to avoid all potential risk to sensitive people, or from a unforeseeable synergy, advise this preparation is considered and manipulated like it shows a health risk and treated with all the possible precautions. 11. ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION
General: Avoid land, superficial or underground water contamination. This preparation hasn’t experimented eco toxicological tests. Due to the difficulty to use common techniques for eco toxicological evaluation in order to predict the impact on the environment, this preparation must be considered and manipulated as it shows a potential risk for the environment and treated with all the possible precautions. However, according to the ingredients and concentrations, and complying R.D. 255/2003 and 1999/45/EEC, this preparation is classified as: DANGEROUS FOR THE ENVIRONMENT. Very toxic to aquatic organisms. May cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment. Eco toxicology:
12. CONSIDERATIONS TO BE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT FOR ELIMINATION
The product must be eliminated complying with the Local Authorities about residues. Do not pour into drains, sewage system or environment. The contaminated containers must be eliminated complying with the local normative. Comply with the national, autonomic or municipal norms of the elimination of residues and containers.
