Exposure Hazards: Closed containers exposed to heat from fire may build pressure and explode. Vapours may travel long distances along the ground or floor to an ignition source and flash back.
Hazardous Decomposition: Hydrocarbons, Formaldehyde, Carbon Monoxide, Carbon Dioxide.
Fire-Fighting Procedures: Wear full protective clothing, including helmet, self-contained positive pressure or pressure demand breathing apparatus, tunic and trousers (leggings), bands around arms, waist and legs, face mask, and protective covering for exposed areas of the head. Water may not effectively extinguish fire; however, it should be used to keep fire-exposed containers and surfaces cool and prevent explosive rupture.
------------------------------------------------------------------------ 6 ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Personal Precautions: Observe precautions from other sections.
Methods for Cleaning up: Remove all ignition sources such as flames, smoking materials, and electrical spark sources. Use only non-sparking tools.
Dispose of collected material as soon as possible.
------------------------------------------------------------------------ 7 HANDLING AND STORAGE ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Precautions for Safe Storage: Store at temperatures below 49 C.
Incompatible Materials/Conditions: Store away from heat. Store out of direct sunlight. Store away from acids. Store away from oxidising agents.
Fire Prevention: Extremely flammable liquid and vapour. Do not spray near flames or sources of ignition. Ground containers securely when transferring contents. Wear low static or properly grounded shoes. No smoking while handling this material.
3M(TM)SPRAY ADHESIVE 08090 (UK 9480) Page 4 of 10 Total Pages ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Keep away from heat, sparks, open flame, pilot lights and other sources of ignition.

Precautions for Safe Handling: Keep container tightly closed. Avoid contact with oxidising agents.
------------------------------------------------------------------------ 8 EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Eye Protection: Avoid eye contact. Avoid eye contact with vapours, mists, or spray. Avoid eye contact with vapours, mists, or spray. The following should be worn alone alone or in combination, as appropriate or in combination, to prevent eye contact: Indirect vented goggles.
Hand Protection: The following glove material(s) are recommended: Polyethylene/ethylene vinyl alcohol.
Skin Protection: Avoid skin contact.
Respiratory Protection: Avoid breathing of vapours created during the cure cycle.
Avoid inhalation of vapours, mists or spray. Avoid breathing of vapours created during the cure cycle. Avoid inhalation of vapours, mists or spray. Select one of the following approved respirators based on airborne concentration of contaminants and in accordance with regulations: Half facepiece or fullface supplied-air respirator.
Ingestion: Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Wash exposed areas thoroughly with soap and water. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Wash exposed areas thoroughly with soap and water.
Recommended Ventilation: Use with functioning spray booth or local exhaust. Provide ventilated enclosure for heat curing. Curing enclosures must be exhausted to outdoors or to a suitable emission control device. Do not use in a confined area or areas with little or no air movement. Do not remain in area where available oxygen may be reduced. If exhaust ventilation is not available, use appropriate respiratory protection.
