While at Takeda Pharmaceuticals, Hart was responsible for a 2,500 member U.S. sales force including sales forcestructure, incentive compensation, sales training, and sales operations. During his tenure at Takeda, Hart wasinstrumental in leading the sales growth from a baseline of $400 million to over $3.5 billion in five years.
Prior to Takeda, Hart served as the National Sales Director of Eisai, Inc., where he was responsible for building andlaunching all facets of the company’s sales force and supportive functions including sales training and salesoperations in preparation for the organization’s U.S. launch of their flagship product, Aricept® (for Alzheimer’s),which went on to become a $3.0 billion blockbuster.
Hart began his career at Bristol-Myers Squibb where he undertook several positions of increasing responsibilitywithin field sales, sales leadership, and marketing including Senior Brand Director for BuSpar® (for GeneralizedAnxiety Disorder) where he led the strategic direction and supportive tactics for Sales, Patient, and Health CareProfessional-focused strategic objectives.
Hart earned a B.S. degree in Business Management from Indiana University and a Masters of BusinessAdministration degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
