All Siemens AG shareholders who are registered for electronic delivery of invitations to Shareholders’ Meetings with an Access Password chosen by themselves and a valid e-mail address on January 21, 2014 will automatically enter the prize draw. If you wish to register for electronic delivery, but do not wish to enter the prize draw, please let us know by e-mailing us at [email protected].
If you would like to enter the price draw, please use our Internet Service for registering for electronic delivery at www.siemens.com/agm-service and follow the corresponding steps.
The prize draw will be supervised by a notary public. Winners will be notified in writing by February 28, 2014 at the address provided in the share register of Siemens AG. The number of Siemens shares you hold does not affect your chance to win. Entry in the prize draw is free.
Each winner will be sent one iPad mini with Retina Display (64 GB, WiFi) (without network usage agreement) by regular mail. The prize will be forfeited after two unsuccessful attempts to deliver it.
The iPad mini with Retina Display (64 GB, WiFi) will be delivered, providing delivery is not prohibited by
national or international export regulations, embargoes, other sanctions and/or contractual obligations of Siemens AG. If, however, delivery is prohibited, the winners concerned will not receive an iPad mini with Retina Display (64 GB, WiFi), but its equivalent value of EUR 478.15 will be transferred to a bank account nominated by them (any bank charges will not be paid). In all other cases, payment of the equivalent cash value of the prize is excluded. If any of the above regulations also prohibit cash payment, the prize will be forfeited.
If the prize has been forfeited for the above reasons, it will be awarded to another participant of the prize draw.
Anyone directly connected with the preparation and implementation of the Internet Service for registering
for electronic delivery or the Internet Service for the Annual Shareholders' Meeting of Siemens AG is not eligible to enter the prize draw.
Siemens will comply with applicable data protection laws when collecting, storing, processing, and using personal data. You can find details at www.siemens.com/privacy.
The prize draw is subject exclusively to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any recourse to legal action is hereby excluded.
